National Independence Day is a public holiday in Poland celebrated every year on 11 November to commemorate the anniversary of Poland's assumption of independent statehood in 1918 after 123 years of partition. At that day we have more or less official events in our country and our school. At school we have more official event with drama, songs concert, school’s banner (presentation Independence Day). Moreover we have many lessons about Polish history, patriotism, myths, etc. Our pupils prepared pictures connected with myth “White Eagle” – it’s very popular myth about emerge of our country. These pictures are made of wool.
